Summary
Fieldwalking south of Rivet's Lodge located extensive area of stone scatter and Romano-British pottery including Samian fragments. Stone and clay roof tiles were also found.

Full Description
{1} Fieldwalking south of Rivet's Lodge located extensive area of stone scatter and Romano-British pottery including Samian fragments. Buff sandstone roofing, much of it burnt pink, was abundant and one piece had a complete nail hole through it. Clay roof and ridge tiles were also recorded.
{2} Roman pottery including fragments of samian has been found, as well as clay tiles and buff sandstone roofing tiles, associated with an area of stones.
