Full Description

{1} Three features, possibly pits, were seen in the sides of a pipeline trench opened during the constrution of houses in Knight Street. The bottom of the pipeline trench was partly refilled and no measurements of the lower levels could be made. A small quantity of medieval pottery sherds were recovered from the spoil heaps immediately by the features, including the bottom portion of a hand made clay cressett. Finds and measurements deposited in Northampton Museum.
