Full Description
{26} Finds made during drainage work at north end of Bath Rd & on Co-Op building estate to north of Clover Hill; many pot sherds revealed especially on lower & east part of estate & north part of Bath Rd ie. Stoneylands & Beckhead furlongs; in drainage works "….large quantities of fragments of pottery were undoubtedly Romano-British & remains of some shoes & bones & bronze spoon & bronze fragments & over 40 coins of C1st-C4th AD;,
{27}Recent discoveries at Kettering; up to 1904 pottery finds "....extremely fragmentary...."; only 2 or 3 complete vessels; pits revealed; some V-shaped & 5ft deep & others flat-bottomed & shallow; extending over area of c.15 acres near head of Beck Gutter;
