Full Description

{1} The parish survey revealed a Belgic occupation area at SP738771. A Belgic and Roman pottery scatter lies at SP738771.

{2} Site M4 is Blegic and Romano-British.

{3} Pottery of late Iron Age and Roman types has been discovered.

{4) Iron Age and Roman Settlement (?) (SP 738771), W. of the village on glacial sands and gravels at 140 m. above OD. Pottery of late Age and Roman types has been discovered.
