Full Description

{1} Two quernstones, upper and lower, of local stone and probably of Iron Age date were found during ironstone working near SP739668. (RCHME place this grid reference in Boughton Parish.)

{2} Finds of upper and lower prehistoric quern stones from approximate grid ref SP739668.

{3} (Area SP 739668) Upper and lower quernstones found in ironstone workings. Finds in Northampton Museum.

{4} The former ironstone workings have been reclaimed and are now under plough. The stones are local, of Hunsburg type, prob IA.
