Full Description

{2} Fieldwalking undertaken since April 1964. Worked flints including a Neolithic flint leaf-shaped arrowhead and a barbed and tanged arrowhead were found over an area of about 4 hectares. Finder: R Moore.

{3} Fieldwalking undertaken at Sander's Covert.

{4} (SP 71946787) A tanged arrowhead found by R Moore in April 1964.

{5} Mr Moore retains a Ne leafshaped arrowhead found by him at SP 7189 6763 while field walking in 1964 (b).
No further finds made during field investigation at the site.

{6} Mr Moore, 75 Kingsley Road, Northampton indicated that the arrowhead was found at SP71936785 while field walking. He retains the find.(a) Nothing of archaeological significance seen at the site during field investigation.
