Summary

A watching brief undertaken in 1989 during the rebuilding of the village hall and construction of a car park found a small quantity of unstratified medieval and post-medieval pottery.

Full Description

{1} Three sherds of C12th/13th pottery; a single sherd was from a curfew or fire cover. An additional nine sherds were recovered from C17th-C19th wares. All the pottery was unstratified. Modern brick foundations were also observed.
