Full Description
{1} Iron Age Settlement (c SP 793612), on river gravel, at 58 m. above OD. Eight ditches/pits containing a small quantity of Iorn Age (?) pottery were discovered during the laying of an electricity cable trench in 1973.
{2} An electricity cable trench aligned east-west cut eight features. Prehistoric pottery, possibly Iron Age, was found in a couple of the features. One of the ditches was c2.5m wide.
