Full Description

{1} Fieldwalking by A.E.Brown. 50+ worked flints including three cores. RCHME gives ngr of SP665782.

{2} A further flint scatter was noted at SP665782. This had originally been located by an extra-mural class from Leicester University. Dense crop growth in this field prevented a thorough surface collection in 1983-4.

{3} Scatter of worked flints identified between SP66507820 and SP66557822. Cites Barcham as source of information, although this appears to be a separate phase of collection. Undated ditches were recorded on Upper Lias Clay at SP66507821 and SP66517821.
