Full Description

{1} Trial excavation between March and June 1991 by OAU. Probable early Saxon features identified.

{2} A posthole was revealed with packing and post-pipe. Two small pieces of slag and two early Saxon pot sherds were recovered. A ditch, gully and two small pits were found within the area of a Saxon pottery scatter.
