Archaeological watching brief undertaken during the construction of the A14 identified two Roman ditches.

Full Description

{1} Minor excavation of June 1992, by T.Sharman. A linear feature was revealed during topsoil stripping, more than 3.5m long x 0.3m wide x 0.3m deep. It contained a dark fill with Romano-British pot sherds including at least half of a grey coarseware pot. A further ditch was noted as running north-south.
