Fieldwalking survey identified a flint scatter across two fields

Full Description

{1} Fieldwalking in October 1992 (Field DES 11). 9 struck flints and 1 sherd of medieval pottery recovered. Not thought to indicate presence of a site in this field.

{2} Fieldwalking in October 1992 (Field DES 12). 11 struck flints and 4 sherds of medieval pottery recovered. Not thought to indicate presence of a site in this part of the field.

{3} In both fields the flints were well scattered throughout the transects and insufficient to suggest prehistoric activity.
