Full Description
{1} Metal detecting found 10 Romano-British coins of the late 3rd-4th centuries. These formed a slight concentration to the rear of Norton Crescent but their significance is unknown. Their extremely worn condition suggested that they had been in the ploughsoil dor some time. Fieldwalking recovered 130 sherds of Romano-British pottery - this was evenly distributed and so suggests a manuring scatter.
