Full Description

{1} The long two storey plus attic building is mainly of stone, with gabled slate roof. The south end was the original mill-house and the north end was the mill. On the upstream side there has been considerable alteration to the fenestration and doorways in both parts. The original single line of the eaves has been broken by the insertion of pitched roof dormers over two of the bays of the former mill-house. The red brick from above the level of the lintels in the second storey windows in these bays appears to date from the insertion of the dormers.
