Full Description

{1} Graveyard survey and rescue excavation of January 1992 by Northamptonshire Archaeology. 56 individual monuments and at least nine others inside the church were identified. One grave was unmarked, eight were illegible. The other commemorate 71 persons. Excavation exposed a large ironstone slab. Pottery dating from the medieval to modern was recovered and a few human bones retrieved.

{2} A survey of the grave ledger slabs within the church, was undertaken prior to a wooden floor being inserted. The report contains full details of each of the 14 incised slabs.
