Summary
A possible settlement suggested by a scatter of Early Anglo-Saxon pottery. A small number of Roman pottery sherds and pieces of prehistoric worked flint were also recovered.

Full Description
{1} Extent of early/middle Saxon pottery scatter has been mapped by D.N.Hall.
{4} Roman and Saxon pottery scatter: Roman pottery sherds comprising very abraded greywares, very leached dark pinkish wares (once shelly) and 55 sherds of hand made Saxon (or possibly IA, though more likely the former) and a Bronze Age scraper, Mesolithic cores, Laurel leaf arrowhead (flints currently unlocated)
