Full Description

{1}The stocks in Whittlebury were located in the street near the National School until their removal in around 1860.

{3} The School is at SP 69204368 and was probably there in 1860 (Mr Archer, 82, the oldest inhabitant cannot remember it being anywhere else - he knows of no traditional site for the stocks).
