{2} Common fields are said to have been enclosed by agreement in 1659.

{3} Most of parish shown as enclosed by this time; 2 large fields apparently still open; that in the north is called 'The Open Field; that in the south is called 'The Open Field Beneath Windmill Hill'.

{4} Enclosed soon after 1671. Describes Abington as "an enclosed lordship".

{5} Whole of parish enclosed by this time.
