Full Description
{1} Fieldwalking identified a well-marked line of limestone rubble 7m wide x 0.3m high, possibly the line of the Romano-British road.
{2} In 1969 it was noticed that a clearly defined line of limestone (10m across approx) could be seen in a ploughed field at this site from (SP 988815 - SP 983817). This could indidate the presence for the known road which joins the Gartree Road at Oxen Wood.
