Full Description

{1} Romano-British road, Thrapston to Irchester, Viatores Route 570. Through Thrapston, Denford, Ringstead, Higham Ferrers, Rushden and Irchester. Survives partly as a green lane, partly modern road.

{2} There is no evidence to support this route, which is used by modern footpaths etc. There is a suggestion that the Roman road crossed the river at Lowick and did not in fact go to Thrapston.
