Cropmark of a circular enclosure identified on an aerial photograph in 1961.

{1} Cropmark recorded by Hollowell in 1961. Circular enclosure. Finds from adjacent site spread this far suggesting that this feature may be associated.

{2} (SP 902626) Circular cropmark seen by R Hollowell, July 1961. (Nothing visible on available APs RAF 1954)

{3} The indicated site is under crop. Mr Hill said finds from the adjacent building site (SP 96 SW 6) are apread this far and this feature may well be associated.

{4} This area was assessed as part of the Bedford Borough NMP aerial survey project. No features as described above were visible on any of the available aerial photographs.
