Full Description

{1} Several sherds of Roman pottery were found on the edge of the site in 1966. Later fieldwork produced a wide scatter of Roman pottery and a small area with possible hand-made Iron Age pottery within it. Some worked flints were also discovered.

{2} Fieldwalking located several Romano-British coarse ware pot sherds.
