{4} Excavation of late 15th century pottery kiln (subject to plough threat); kiln to be left in-situ and reburied to depth to prevent further damage.
{5} 15th century pottery kiln producing a typical range of 15th century pottery including vessels for brewing and dairying and crested ridge tiles. Documentary evidence shows the kilns to be in operation in 1483. An interesting feature was the use of the kilns for lime buring between pot firings throughout the life of the structures.
