Full Description

{1} Post medieval shrunken village of Glapthorne. Part of the village was deserted by 1635.

{2} Some houses were still in existence in 1814.

{3} Soilmarks of various marks and stone scatters relating to former house sites, roads etc. NCCAP:TL0290/007-8.

{4} Settlement Remains (TL 02129061-02269061), formerly part of Glapthorn village, north of Manor Farm. They consist of indeterminate earthworks resulting from houses which were still in existence in 1814 south-west of Manor Farm (TL 02099051) are further earthworks although this site was already devoid of buildings in 1635.
