Monument record 4971/0/1 - Probable geological feature

Cropmark originally thought to be an Iron Age D-shaped enclosure, but probably more likely to be geological marks

{2} Enclosure (?) (c.SP 780579), lies E. of Hardingstone on Upper Lias Clay at 69 m. above OD. Air photographs show the cropmarks of a roughly D-shaped enclosure about 85 m. across.

{3} Re-examination suggests that this feature is modern or geological.
