Full Description
{1} South-south-east of the church at SP592373 is an extensive area of Roman occupation now under active building development. Represented by finds including coins, Samian ware, roof and flue tiles, tesserae, plaster and large quantities of coarse ware indicating occupation during the later Roman period. The coins are of Severus Alexander, Tetricus I (x2) and Gallienus (x2).
