Full Description

{1} Fieldwalking in 1991 on site of Brackley borrow pit. 15 med and late med sherds were found scattered predominantly in the central and eastern part of the field. The majority of sherds were from the C16th. In addition a post medieval manuring scatter was identified throughout most of the area, but not collected. One possible early middle Saxon sherd was recovered from the centre of the field, probably residual.
