Full Description
{1}geophysics;1992; scatter of slag covering area of c. 5sq m; natural boulder clay at 0.30m; date of slag uncertain;,
{2}Magnetic anomaly identified during geophysical survey, scatter of slag covered area (c5 sq m). Simple spade cut failed to reveal archaeological features. At at depth of 0.30m the undisturbed natural geology of Bolder Clay was revealed.,
{3}Magnetometer survey found significant anomaly. Associated with this was asurface scatter of tap-slag of unknown date. A simple spade cut into the topsoil revealed no underlying archaeological features.
