Full Description

{1} Though a lime kiln is identified on the 1st edition OS plan no extant remains have been positively identified. The lime kiln was located by a small area of quarrying adjacent the southern boundary of the field. A depression is still present, though much overgrown and subject to some modern infilling along its northern side. Brick and stone is present within the overgrown western edge of the depression though it is unclear whether this is waste dumping or forms part of a structure. There may be potential for buried remains of the kiln.
