Full Description

{1} Only one possible archaeological feature was noted, comprising a 3m wide deposit of clay which was unaffected by the line of the actual pipe trench. It was not therefore subjected to further investigation. There was no evidence to suggest that the feature was in any way related to the pit alignment to the north-east (Mon 5767). Furthermore it is not known whether the clay represents a dumped deposit or the fill of a negative feature.
