Abstract/Summary

The laying of a gas M P Feeder main between Wood Burcote and Pury End, near Silverstone, Northamptonshire, was the subject of an archaeological watching brief. The fieldwork, between December 1993 and March 1994, showed that the course of the new main caused little damage or disturbance to archaeological levels within any of the sites previously identified along its route. No new sites were identified.
