Full Description
{1} Route of medieval to post-medieval road;
{5} The road does not appear on Pierce's map of 1632 and the subsequent Noble and Butlin map of 1746 its attribution is uncertain. It may be significant that Regent Street is so named in honour of the Regency period during the reign of George III (1810 -1820), with the road not appearing until the Wood and Law map of 1847.
