Full Description

{1}Watching brief on St Mary the Virgin, Everdon. Skulls and leg bones found in soakaway pits.

{1} Archaeological observation during replacement and enhancement of external drainage. Four burials and a deposit of disarticulated bone were observed, one of which had been truncated by a pipe trench. The burials are likely to be of medieval and post-medieval date and form the final phases of interment in the area.
