Full Description
{1} Enigmatic series of possible hollow ways or ditches on the eastern boundary of Harlestone Heath. They fan out to the northwest and south east the features closely converge along their central section close to the existing woodland rise.
{2} T.C. Welsh interprets this feature as part of an enclosure, c.450m long by 200 wide, contained by 4 or 5 banks sometimes merged, sometimes separated by ditches, over a width of 25-30m. It may signify a defended settlement rather than a fort. Cf. 6654/0/1.
