Full Description
{1} Surrounding plots which were used as paddocks or horticultural areas in the late Saxon period were utilised to a greater extent in medieval period with evidence of ovens etc.
{2} During the C12th the plots surrounding (the new manor) show increased evidence of utilisation, with pit groups associated with ovens lying to the south and east of the buildings.
