Full Description

{1} Scatter of flint and Iron Age pottery discovered by fieldwalking in field immediately east of Top Lodge. 49 sherds of Iron Age pottery were discovered by fieldwalking. The pottery was lost after being recorded so no detailed report is possible. The sherds lay in two distinct concentrations. 83 flint fragments were found within 3ha, including cores, scrapers and retouched material from post-Beaker Bronze Age and regular debitage of late Neolithic/early Bronze Age.
