Full Description

{1} Trial trench excavation within the footprint of a new warehouse identified a small number of medieval features. There was a considerable amount of limestone in the trenches - probable hollow way. There was a curving wall, only 50 cm side and one course deep, and only 15cm below ground level. There was rubble/clay to the west of the wall. Medieval pits and ditches were also found.
