Summary
Goods sheds originating in the 19th century with later additions. Possibly used for warehousing consignments of shoes ready for onward travel. As many as six railway lines entered the sheds. Now demolished.

Full Description
{1}The transhipment shed retains some railway track which are set in cobbles between two loading platforms. Despite neglect the buidling appears to remain in fair condition with many early or original features such as sliding partition doors, remaining intact.
{3} Building recording survey of the transhipment shed was undertaken.
