Full Description

{1} Fieldwalking by B.Bellamy 02/02/1975 recovered Iron Age and Romano-British pot sherds with burnt pebbles.

{2} Fieldwalking recovered a small quantity of C1st AD wares. Many burnt pebbles were also noted.

{3} Roman Settlement (SP 913835), in the extreme S.W. of the parish, on Boulder Clay at 100m. above OD. Recent field-walking has led to the discovery of a small quantity of 1st century pottery and a scatter of burnt stone.
