Fieldwalking survey identified an area of dark soil with associated limestone. The site was partially excavated in the 1950s; the only known finds are three querns.

{1} Dark area with limestone and pebbles lying on a spur. Site partly excavated in 1950s, finds included 3 querns of Millstone Grit, puddingstone and another igneous.
