B. SP 91018544. A large amount of pottery, human bone and burnt material found 1947-48.
Classified as 3rd century by the British Museum.

C. SP 90948537 An area excavated in 1966 by Kettering Grammer School Arch Soc. Traces of a 2nd century farmstead of timber and stone. Romano-British and Samian ware found. Classified by Kettering Museum.

D. SP 90168526 Fragmentary 2nd century pottery found on the surface about 1964. Classified by Gwen Brown (MOW).

E. SP 90468542 Much pottery 2nd-3rd century and a "circle of stones" found about 1950. Pottery again found in 1966. Suggested by Kettering Museum as "possibly a prehistoric site with later occupation" but never excavated and confirmed.

F. SP 91298574 A large amount (almost a barrowload) of Roman brick, tile and pottery found 1965. Suggested by Kettering Museum to be "another farm site" (ref to C)

Apart from the above, fragmentary and isolated Roman pottery has been found over most of the fields in the area, and, occasionally Roman tile and brick.

Mr Harker has donated most of the material found to the Birtish Museum and Kettering Museum, but retains a fair amount of the pottery himself.

{6} G. SP 902852 Roman sherds found 1965.

{7} No further information available on Romano-British farmstead excavated by Kettering Grammer School Archaeological Society.
