Late Iron Age pottery suggests possible settlement

{1} Iron Age settlement (SP 913857), S. of the village, on limestone at 67m above OD. A scatter of occupation debris and late Iron Age pottery is recorded.

{2} A large amount of Roman brick, tile and pottery found in 1965. Suggested by Kettering Museum to be "another farm site".

{4} Area of occupation debris, late Iron Age pottery, scored ware and Belgic forms.

{5} Dark area with pebbles etc. Iron Age sherds but no Romano-British presence as previously reported.
