Fieldwalking survey found a small quantity of large, unabraded sherds of Roman pottery. May be associated with cropmarks in the vicinity

Full Description

{1}Roman settlement (?)(SP 572360) in the SE of the parish, on limestone at 123 m. above OD. A small quantity of large, unbraded sherds is recorded.

{2} Approximately 10 Romano-British sherds were found: the large unabraded nature of these suggests a possible occupation of the site.
