Full Description

{1} Evidence of ridge and furrow cultivation was uncovered in trench.

{2} Late Iron Age/early Roman ditches, possible late medieval building and later quarrying, excavation by S Steadman.

{3} The somewhat levelled remains consist of a low scarp delimiting the western and southern sides of what would have been a large, sub-rectangular enclosure which had been overploughed with ridge and furrow.
