Summary

Cropmarks of possible prehistoric enclosures identified on aerial photographs. Results of an evaluation found a small cluster of archaeological features and some Roman pottery.

Full Description

{2} In the north, an evaluation of four trenches found a small cluster of archaeological features that includes four ditches, two intercutting pits and a gully. Some Roman pottery sherds found from these areas. It is thought that these features are characteristic of a late Iron Age to early Roman date.
