Detailed descriptions of architectural fragment & statue;,Headless & legless torso of male nude found; well executed in local stone but much weathered; found built into wall; now at Northampton Museum; capital found in 1879 now held at Chester House; indicates building of architectural pretensions; drawing;,In north corner of "outer temple yard" a carved capital & torso of limestone statue of nude male figure were discovered apparently incorporated into wall overlying boundary of yard; photograph of statue;
{4} The stone capital and the stone Sarcophagus piece have been removed safely from their original sites and are now stored undercover at Victoria Mills, Wellingborough.
