Full Description

{1} The eastern part of the area contained a pair of postholes and a gully.

{3} A pair of postholes of similar dimensions and about 2.4m apart. F3 was 0.20m in diameter x 0.26m deep, F4 was 0.26m in diameter x 0.23m deep. Neither contained any dating evidence. A section of the trench was extended southwards by 3.5m in order to determine whether any other similar related features existed, but none were present.
F5 was a gully which crossed the trench in a north-south direction 7.6m to the east of posthole F4. This was 0.33m wide x 0.10m deep. No dateable finds were recovered from this feature, only a small quantity of animal bone.
