Title Grange Farm, Stanwick, Northamptonshire: An Archaeological Excavation
Author/Originator
Date/Year 1997

Abstract/Summary

An archaeological excavation was carried out during October and November 1997 at Grange Farm, Stanwick, Northamptonshire (NGR SP9816 7113). The work was commissioned by Country Homes Developments Ltd. Much of the site had been subject to truncation thus reducing the chances of survival of late Saxon or medieval occupation. Only features in Trench 3, located within pasture, were well-preserved, revealing a possible medieval property boundary for dwellings fronting onto Grange Road.
