Full Description
{1} In 1913 Desborough Co-operative Society, having purchased the Harrington and Thorpe Underwood estates, began to extract ironstone. An embankment and a length of the route of the quarry railway going to Desborough can still be traced in the fields. Quarrying ceased in the early 1920s.
