Monument record 9365/1/1 - Bridge Over Willow Brook

The site of a bridge carrying the Main Street over the Willow Brook on the western side of Bulwick village. The bridge was constructed of limestone and ashlar during the 18th or 19th century and altered during the 20th century. The bridge has a segmental arch with an overlying skew arch that was added during the 20th century to facilitate the road. To the south of the bridge is a ford where a new bridge was due to be constructed in 1979. A bridge existed here in 1482.
